Cavalletti Safety Tip

A few years ago, in preparation for a clinic abroad, Bernie asked the clinic host to have some cavalletti at hand in the arena. The host refused to provide them because two pony club members had recently been injured when their horses tripped over the cavalletti and fell on their riders. He has taken this information to heart, and since then he warns his students about the potential danger of cavalletti when they are negotiated the wrong way. Cavalletti can be an invaluable tool when schooling your horse, so find out how be safe out there and use them the right way.

Our Mission

Bernie Traurig

At Equestrian Coach our passion is education. We are here to help riders learn something new, tackle a problem or brush up on something they already know. Providing valuable resources to riders is what makes us tick. Essentially, we want all equestrians to have access to affordable, quality education from the best coaches in the sport, regardless of their background, their riding level, or their geographic location. So this blog is going to be all about education. We will be sharing tips, lessons, exercises, experiences and so much more, all to enhance the education of our blog followers.

What People Are Saying About EquestrianCoach.com

What I like best about EquestrianCoach.com is the easy access to coaches, clinics, lessons, blogs and training articles that can be found on the site. A tremendous plus to those of us training on a budget that would not normally allow us the ability to clinic with some of these great trainers.

I am so excited about my subscription to your website. Spent at least an hour on it the first night. I am a real fan of the effort. Thank you again!

Mary Testimonial Pic

I love that a site like EquestrianCoach exists. When you're on a layoff from riding due to various reasons, (school, family priorities, monetary issues, injury etc.) I still feel connected to my passion/lifestyle and feel like I'm always learning something.
