Larry Langer

Larry Langer founded Langer Equestrian Group, Inc. (LEG) in 1972 and has been at its helm ever since as President and CEO. Inducted into the Show Jumping Hall of Fame (2012), Larry has been actively involved with horses for his whole life as a rider, trainer, owner, official, show manager, consultant, and author. Through his many years of involvement with the industry, Larry has developed a wealth of knowledge over the many years, garnering the contacts and respect from the horse industry that only a lifetime of dedication and success can bring. On the event management side, he was the Show Jumping Competition Manager at the 1992 World Cup Finals and the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. During his years in facility management, he was Director of the Pacific Horse Center for 10 years and taught three Horsemastership courses accredited through California State University – Sacramento. Currently, LEG is one of the country’s largest and most prestigious horse show management companies, producing 38 horse shows held in six different facilities in two different states. Larry holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, is the author of Know Stable Design and Management (Farnam Horse Library Series), and is working on the manuscript for a book on horse show management.
